Lewis University Announces Teach-Out Agreement to Support Oak Point University Students

Lewis University has agreed to be a Teach-Out institution for , which announced that they will officially close in April. This agreement ensures a smooth transition for Oak Point University students to Lewis University so they can continue their education and pursue their degrees.

Oak Point University, formerly Resurrection University, is a private, not-for-profit nursing and health sciences educational institution with campuses in Chicago and Oak Brook, Illinois. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing, undergraduate programs in radiography, and business-to-business education.
揕ewis University is especially well positioned to serve in this role because of the significant overlap between our mutual nursing and healthcare programs and the fact that our Oak Brook campus is only a few blocks away from their Oak Brook location,� Livingston added.
Lewis University meets students where they are so the students can prepare for fulfilling careers. This includes supporting the needs of students impacted by the closure of Oak Point University. Lewis University has also agreed to ensure the safekeeping and accessibility of Oak Point University student academic records and historical documentation. All transcript records will be housed at Lewis University.
